I see.  Of course, fowl pest is usually transmitted through blood and faecal matter, so generally you shouldn't be in any immediate danger unless you're in the habit of eating chicken shit.  Recent reports claim that certain new strains of the disease have adapted to being carried by public transport - usually favouring taxis over buses and trains.  However, this is really only hearsay.

Obviously, this is all academic since fowl pest can't actually affect humans.  So you've really got nothing to worry about - unless you're descended from chickens, that is, ha ha!   ...There isn't any chicken in the family, is there?
