Oh right, so it kind of goes
with the job. As a fellow medical professional, I can understand exactly why you
have developed such a strong emotional reaction to your patients. If I spent my
working days staring into the bloodshot eyes of a bunch of sodden, lice-infested birds, it
would probably drive me nuts as well. The trick is not to let them get on top of
you. Try to liven things up with a few little games to amuse yourself.
Personally, I rather enjoy setting fire to my patients to see which ones scream the
loudest. Alternatively, I like to send them off for operations they don't need, or
perform surprise amputations in the waiting room. It's all just a bit of harmless
fun and it helps to pass the day.
Actually,
if you like, why don't you bring some of your ducks round, and we can swap a few body
parts? Yes? Oh well, it was just a thought.
