Ah, I thought so.  You're most probably wearing a bucket on your head.  Recent research shows that wearing buckets for long periods can often give rise to temporary blindness, a desperate feeling of isolation and a constant ringing in the ears.  Especially when it's raining.   Of course, there are a number of reasons why someone might wish to retreat to the privacy and relative safety of their own private bucket - to preserve one's anonymity, for example, or to protect oneself from cosmic rays.  Buckets are also a great comfort to agoraphobics.  However, the most common motive is one of self-esteem.  Tell me, do you consider yourself to be hideously ugly?
