Seventeen

Kieran Trifle has caused a great deal of confusion after choosing to rename his house, formerly known as 25 Crown Terrace. It is, of course, a perfectly common, if quaint, practice for people to give their home a name - The Laurels, Woodside or Riverview are amongst some of the more popular. But Mr Trifle has chosen to rename his house Seventeen. This has understandably caused some confusion, as the residents of the actual 17 Crown Terrace are constantly calling round to collect their mail. Meanwhile, Mr Trifle's own mail is steadily building up at the sorting office - he is unable to collect it because they won't accept his proof of address.

Troublesome as this has been, Mr Trifle is nevertheless better off than his neighbour who, after renaming his house Nelson's Column, has been inundated by pigeons ever since.
