Tarty Snails

Scientists have discovered that snails have a range of about three hundred feet, after marking their shells with nail varnish and tracking their movements. Flushed with the success of this project, researchers at the Newcastle Institute of Mollusc Studies moved on to experimenting with other cosmetics, such as lipstick, blusher and eyeliner. They have discovered that, if they're wearing the right kit, most snails manage to do pretty well for themselves when they're out on the lash on a Saturday night.
